Remarks for The Designer of Precision Casting Goods
For correct design of precision casting:
- avoid corners and sharp edges (minimun r.0,5 mm);
- avoid too thin thickness (minimun 2 mm);
- avoiding too narrow tolerances;
- eliminating or modify crossing sections that may cause "hot spot";
- possibility keep uniform sections;
- to lighten thickness and to insert ribs for plane surfaces, in order to avoid excessive deformations;
- for marks (label and numbers) we can made concave and relief the merks in relief have to be done on a lower surface plan.
